💥 **J-Cut:** Imagine you hear a spooky ghost sound... *before* you see the ghost jump out! The audio from the next clip starts early. This is a J-Cut, because the audio track on the timeline makes a "J" shape under the video clips. It builds suspense!
👻 **L-Cut:** Now imagine you see an astronaut's surprised face... but you're still hearing the KABOOM 🚀 from the rocket launch that just happened. The audio from the previous clip lingers. This is an L-Cut, because the audio track makes an "L" shape. It connects two different shots together smoothly.

Let's try an L-Cut right in your browser. We'll use Clipchamp, a free video editor from Microsoft.
Your Challenge: Make it look like a cat's yawn *causes* a dog to bark!
- Find two free stock videos from a site like Pexels: one of a "cat yawning" and one of a "dog barking." Download them.
- In Clipchamp, put the cat video first on the timeline, then the dog video.
- Select the dog clip and find the "Audio" tab on the right. Click "Detach Audio."
- Now, you can drag the dog's green *audio* clip so it starts a little bit *before* the dog's video, right at the end of the cat's yawn.
🎉 Ta-da! You just performed an L-Cut! It feels like the yawn and the bark are connected into one story.
🎬 Your Mission: The 15-Second Trailer
Time to build something real. Your mission is to create a 15-second movie trailer that tells a tiny, epic story.
The Rules:
- Download 3-4 free sci-fi or adventure clips from Mixkit or Pexels.
- Use at least one J-Cut and one L-Cut to make your story flow.
- Add some epic music and a title!
- With your parent's permission, upload it to YouTube as "Unlisted" and share the link on the TomorrowHub showcase!

Challenge: Motion Tracking Magic ✨
Your goal: Make text follow a moving object in a video. Imagine a name tag floating perfectly next to a person as they walk! Here's the lightning-fast guide for DaVinci Resolve.
- 1. Drop your clip on the timeline.
- 2. Go to the Fusion page (the magic wand icon ✨).
- 3. With 'MediaIn1' selected, press Shift+Spacebar and search for a Tracker node. Add it.
- 4. In the Tracker window, place the green box over the object you want to follow.
- 5. Click "Track Forward" (a ▶️ button). Watch the computer do the work!
- 6. Add a 'Text+' node and type your text.
- 7. Connect the Text+ node to the green triangle on your Tracker node.
