The Builder's Security Rules
Use a Different Password for Every Account
If one site gets hacked and you used the same password everywhere, attackers can get into everything. Use a password manager like Bitwarden (free!) to keep track of unique, strong passwords.
Spot a Phishing Attempt
Warning signs: urgent language ("Act now or your account gets deleted!"), unexpected emails asking for passwords, links that look slightly misspelled (gooogle.com), or prize claims you didn't enter for. When in doubt, don't click. Ask an adult first.
Turn on 2FA Wherever You Can
Two-Factor Authentication means even if someone guesses your password, they still need your phone to log in. Turn it on for email, gaming accounts, and any account that matters!
What Stays Private, Stays Safe
Never share: your full name + school + age all together, your home address, phone number, passwords, or location in real time. This applies to games, Discord, social media โ anywhere online.
